Black & Gold Kaleidoscope Quilt45 viewsI just love kaleidoscope quilts. I would go as far as to say that it has become a bit of an addiction! I made this one as a sample for a class that we did in 2008. It is quilted with a gold thread, which looks amazing. Larraine Smith did the quilting.

The border fabric was the inspiration for this quilt and I found most of the centre fabrics in the Jinny Beyer Palette range. This was done at a quilting camp, and fun was had by all.

Black & White Stashbuster47 viewsSarah made this quilt here at Cobar Quilt Shop, not long after we opened. She calls it a "value for money" quilt, as it takes a while to put together, so you don't have to worry about another project for a little while. This is a Thangles pattern. We have kits available on the website, which include the fabrics, Thangles and pattern, or you can buy a packet of thangles and get the pattern for free. As with most of our photos', this picture was taken inside our store.

I have only just finished vliesofixing all the fabrics down and am still stitching away, so these poor bunnies will get eyes soon. This was done in a bit of a rush, and I accidentally put the top & bottom borders on first instead of the sides.
